The reserves faced top of the table Sheffield FC on Sunday, another tough match for the young side.
The game started well with the team keeping possession and creating quite a few chances on goal with their keeper Donna dealing with the Sheffield FC attack. However they were undone by a corner that was not cleared properly and subsequently Sheffield FC scored. Their second goal was a 30 yard strike that looped over the goalkeeper and the reserves conceded a third goal on a counter attack.
However the squad did not roll over and continually pressed to get back into the game and it was on the 80th minute when Hannah Crossley latched onto a through ball beating the defenders and with great control and finish placed it into the top corner.
Rightly so the side were disappointed with the result and deserved more from the game but decent team performances recently have given the squad confidence going into next weeks cup match at home against Leeds United LFC.
